OUR MISSION

WE WANT OUR CUSTOMERS TO FEEL THOSE F**KING OATS! WITH AN EXPANDING SIZE RANGE FOR ALL BODY TYPES, WE AIM TO ENSURE EVERYONE FEELS THEIR BEST IN OUR APPAREL.

OUR VISION

Dark Room was founded in 2016 with the vision of creating a clothing brand that evokes only positive feelings in customers. Since opening our online store, we've grown into a global brand committed to helping our customers feel more confident in their own skin through our clothing and to experiment with different fetish styles they may have been too shy to try before. Today, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of fetish gear and developing a wide range of unique styles that make them feel sexier than ever.

OUR IMPACT

We are running our business with ethical practices in mind. We are far from perfect, but we are trying our best to do the following:

REDUCE PLASTIC WASTE

We are phasing in new packaging that is 100% recyclable and plastic-free. Eventually, all orders will be sent in a new branded box, which is still discreet and plain on the outside. We are also phasing out plastic packaging in our garments and bringing in new paper glassine bags.

KEEP THE MAJORITY OF MANUFACTURING IN PORTUGAL

Where possible, we will use experienced manufacturers that uphold ethical working conditions and EU environmental standards. Look out for our product pages where it will be highlighted that this garment was made in Portugal.

DONATE TO LGBTQ+ CHARITIES

During Pride Month or when possible, we will donate a portion of profits to LGBTQ+ charities, particularly those that focus on trans rights. So far, we have donated thousands and split it among four main charities: The Trevor Project, Mermaids, National Center for Transgender Equality, and the BTFA Collective.

OUR TEAM

Just the two of them (for now), Paul and Andres are the founders of Dark Room. They stumbled into this company somewhat by accident. Initially, they created a calendar just to make some extra cash, and after selling out all 100 copies in less than 24 hours, they realised there was something with a lot of potential. After engaging with customers and hearing what they like/need, they expanded into apparel, and the rest is history. The phrase 'but it won't look good on me' was common, and they DO NOT like to hear that. They both genuinely want people to feel as confident as they do in their clothing (and as they should). That's why they pay great attention to detail when it comes to constructing their garments, ensuring they show off customers' best assets with an ever-expanding size range so more people can feel sexier than ever.
